March 26th, 2018 Tirana, Albania

4AM I was woken up at 3:30AM by the front desk. It did take almost an hour to grab everyone from 3 other hotels to get to the airport. I sat in the Prime Class Lounge after checking in until boarding.

9AM We arrived at Albania. I was debating whether to take the bus or renting a car. After getting the car for 25 EUR or 3,300 ALL is what they charged me, I decided I couldn't pass up driving to Berat, the UNESCO site 2 hours away. They gave it to me with no fuel in the car. I had to fuel up twice along the way. The second time an hour was wasted because the employee filled it full and didn't read. They finally siphoned the gas out.

1PM I arrived at Berat. It was good but not great, just like the lamb in egg cheese I had for lunch. I left around 3 for Tirana. The road chosen by GPS was horrible. It was windy and there were no stations that took credit card along he way. I left around 3PM and got to the pyramid at 5PM.

5PM I was first scared when a couple of teenagers called me up but when I examined the pyramid the second time, it was doable and I just went for it since Noah did it. When I summited, there were a couple of young boys who threatened me with weapons they found. I gave them a few TRY but they weren't satisfied. I slid down and ran away as fast as possible. They eventually caught me but I couldn't help and had someone escort me back to the car. I drove by the main square, which is under reconstruction and saw the bridge before leaving for the airport.

7PM I got in and sat until boarding a little after 8PM. I landed in Istanbul near midnight and got food vouchers for the 8 hour layover. I traded it for 24.5 TRY with someone at the food court. I took a shower in the HSBC Lounge until 5AM, when I went down to the Prime Class Lounge.
