May 7th, 2015 Chobe, Botswana

5:45AM I woke up, almost missing the tour.
6AM It was so cold, the three of us hid behind the seats to shield ourselves from the wind.
9AM We returned.
10AM We went into town. After a fruitless argument with Mandy at the ATC, I gave up the war to try to leave the group one day earlier.

3PM I decided to stay on the trip and continued on the Chobe safari. They took us for an afternoon game drive, followed by some Indian chicken for dinner. That was the best dish he cooked. This part of the trip was the highlight of ATC, if at all. The guide taught us how to react to lions. I saw the milky way.

9PM I slept without a blanket but with Andrew's sleeping bag liner, I was insulated surprisingly well.
