This blog is especially dedicated to those helped along my way of traveling the world. These couchsurfing hosts, those that shared whatever they had with me, no matter how poor or rich, were the most generous people that I have had the pleasure to meet. Our encounters, however ethereal and transient, are extraordinary and deserve to be recorded and read by others to come. I will travel on and remember your generosity, for which I am eternally grateful.

May 26th, 2010 Montenegro
4AM I told the bus boy that I wanted to get off at Budva and I was dropped off at Ulcinj instead of Bar, which 50 miles south. I paid another 6 EURs to get to Budva at 5AM. I met a couple of guys from Kosovo here.
6AM I spent about a couple of hours here at Budva. Besides the renovated old town, they have got nothing and I got out. Asking directions in Montenegro is as bad it gets, just like China. Ths girl that worked in the old town told me that Casino Royale was shot in Hotel Splendid.
9AM I walked about 6 BAMs to the hotel and found that it was simply a marketing ploy. The casino there is called Casino Royale but had nothing to do with movie.
10AM I took a bus back to Budva and then 1 hour (3 EURs) to Corte. The view here is amazing but took an hour to walk up. The doorwoman saw me and waived the 2 EUR entree fee and helped me watch my luggage, which definitely was not going with me on this mountain.
12PM I took another 3 hours to Podgorica by bus (7 EURs). I met a couple of young girls who showed me a poor Chinese family that owns a cloth store. I then found the same guy I met this morning from Kosovo. His name is Tino. I bought a bus ticket to Sarajevo for 18.9 EURs.
2PM I walked to downtown, which is about a mile away from the bus station. I had a cake at this place but the people here are definitely jerks. They could not find me electricity and told me that I cannot bring drinks in there. So I left and went to another cafe for a banana frappe (2 EURs). I sat there from 3:30 to 7PM.
11:45PM I sat in the train station for 3 hours. Tino was still waiting there. I finally got on the bus and left for Bosnia.

Montenegro is a beautiful country, really it should be familiar with. Prices are fairly low and can be found and a good time.
