December 28th, 2012 Chichen Itza, Mexico

6:40AM  I woke up and purchased a ticket to Chichen Itza (122 MXNs) that leaves at 8AM.  The bus was 15 minutes late.

12:30PM  I arrived at Chichen Itza.  I wanted the eagle whistle for 3 USDs but I think I will get it in Palenque.
5:10PM  I left for Merida.  I met a group of Chinese from the Bay Area here traveling.   They warned me of the bus to Palenque,  where they had their cameras stolen at night.

8:00PM  What was supposed to take 2 hours took almost 3.  I think there is a 50% discount for students but it was not available for this Oriente Bus at 378 MXNs.

10:30PM  I left for an 8 hour trip to Palenque.
