9AM We had some coffee before heading to Coromandel Peninsula. The town with the information service center was actually not the right place. We essentially drove an extra two hours because we went there first. We then drove east to Cathedral Cove, where we needed to be. We then drove to Hot Water Beach, which was warm spring under the sand beach. It took another 3 hours to return at around 10PM.
